Centuries later, two of the most serious pandemics have occurred: the plague and the COVID.

PLAGUE

The plague which occurred about in the fourteenth century, was a devastating epidemic which affected much of the world at the time known.It was caused by a bacterium undermined in the blood of black rats, put into circulation by a particular species of fleas, which absorbed the plague’s bacillus through the blood of rats and transmitted it to those within range. The lack of medical knowledge caused a rapid spread of the virus with disastrous effects.

COVID-19

The COVID-19 instead has occurred since about 2019 ( from which it will then derive its name: Corona Virus Disease 2019). The first outbreaks of this virus occurred in Wuhan, China, where it is thought that the virus originated from bats and then reached humans via a mammal that is widespread in China.
